In 1996, MAW Group of Companies became the sole distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, representing one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers. Today Yamaha Nepal is the top 4 leading brands in Nepal, with a robust presence that includes 100+ authorised dealer outlets and 100+ authorised service points across all key locations nationwide.

United Finance Limited
In 1993, MAW Group of Companies participated as a promoter in United Finance Limited (UFL), now a Public Limited Company, with the aim of enabling the financing of trading products. (UFL) has since merged with Nabil Bank, one of Nepal’s most reputed commercial banks.

Escorts / Rajdoot Motorcycles
In 1975, MAW Group of Companies acquired the agency of Escorts / Rajdoot Motorcycles, a leading two-wheeler company in South Asia. This milestone marked MAW Group of Companies’ entry into Nepal’s two-wheeler market, enhancing connectivity and mobility across the country.

Ford Tractors
In 1971, MAW Group of Companies acquired agency of Ford Tractors in Nepal, selling 164 tractors in its first year of operation. MAW Group of Companies continues to sell Powertrac Tractors for Morang, empowering regional farmers with reliable machinery, enhanced productivity, and access to modern agricultural solutions.

Morang Auto Works Established
MAW Group of Companies started its first automobile workshop “Morang Auto Works” in Biratnagar, Nepal, later adding ancillary products such as batteries, tyre & spare parts.
