At MAW Foundation, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to the community. Today, on 2082/06/05 BS (September 21, 2025), we took another step in that direction by supporting the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office with the handover of 10 motorcycles.
Why We Did This
Kathmandu Valley faces growing traffic challenges every single day. Limited resources have often placed extra pressure on our Traffic Police, who work tirelessly to ensure smooth mobility and public safety. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we wanted to contribute in a way that directly strengthens their ability to serve the public.
The Handover Program
The motorcycles were handed over to AIGP Mr. Dan Bahadur Karki, Chief of Kathmandu Valley Police, in a program held at the Traffic Police Office. Our Chairman, Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agrawal, along with other members of the Foundation, personally joined the ceremony to express our solidarity and appreciation for the work of the traffic police.
The event was also attended by SSP Mr. Navaraj Adhikari, senior police officials, and traffic personnel, making it a meaningful exchange of partnership and goodwill.
Our Commitment
This initiative is more than just a donation. It reflects our belief that safer roads and smoother traffic management create a stronger, more connected community. By providing these motorcycles, MAW Foundation—with the support of the broader MAW Group of Companies—hopes to enhance the efficiency, mobility, and responsiveness of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police.
Looking Ahead
We remain committed to supporting projects that improve everyday life in Nepal. Whether through traffic safety, community development, or social welfare, MAW Foundation will continue to stand by initiatives that bring positive change.
